Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Calibration Ventures d/b/a ECFT ("ECFT," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, retains and protects information through ecftmobile.com.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide when you request service, contact ECFT, or submit a career application. Depending on the form, this may include your name, company or shop name, phone number, email address, service address, vehicle information including VIN, requested service, scheduling preferences, diagnostic or repair details, photographs or documents, city/state, employment history, areas of experience, and a resume.

Our hosting and security providers may also process technical information generated when you use the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, request and security logs, and information used to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic.

How we use information

We use information submitted through the website to respond to service requests, communicate about scheduling and work, evaluate employment candidates, operate and secure the website, troubleshoot delivery or technical problems, maintain appropriate business records, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Submitting a service request or career application does not enroll you in marketing email. Transactional acknowledgments and follow-up communications relate to the request or application you submitted.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate the website and deliver communications. These include WP Engine for website hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse protection, and Brevo through our WordPress mail configuration for transactional email delivery. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to ECFT and are subject to their own contractual and privacy obligations.

Uploads and email delivery

Files submitted with service requests and resumes submitted with career applications are uploaded temporarily so they can be delivered to ECFT. The website is configured to remove those uploaded files from WordPress storage after the internal notification email is successfully sent. Copies may remain in ECFT's email or ordinary business records as appropriate to the request or application.

Retention

Website service-request records and unsuccessful career-application records are generally retained for up to two years and then deleted from WordPress. If information becomes part of an ongoing customer, job, employment, legal, accounting or other ordinary business record, it may be retained under the retention practices applicable to that record. Security, hosting and infrastructure logs may be retained according to the practices of the applicable service provider.

Brevo is currently configured to delete transactional email logs after approximately one month and not to store transactional email previews. Copies of communications delivered to ECFT mailboxes may be retained as ordinary business correspondence.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for WordPress functionality, security, spam prevention and reliable operation. Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser and network signals to determine whether a submission appears legitimate. ECFT does not use the theme itself to load advertising pixels, behavioral advertising trackers, Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. If our use of analytics or advertising technologies changes, we will update this policy and implement consent controls when appropriate.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information submitted through this website. We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website or communicate with you; to employees or contractors who need it for the relevant service or recruiting purpose; when required by law or legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect ECFT, our customers, users or others.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls, spam and bot protection, limited file types and sizes, and server-side validation. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about personal information you submitted through this website or to request correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required or permitted for legitimate business, legal, security or recordkeeping purposes. Email info@ecftmobile.com.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for automotive businesses and employment candidates and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly use the website to solicit personal information from children under 13.

Third-party links

The site contains links to third-party and manufacturer resources. ECFT does not control the privacy or security practices of those external websites. Review their policies when visiting them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
